Welcome to Wordy Bird. Whether you have a brochure that needs content, a creative campaign that needs shaping or want web copy that keeps your customers coming back, I can help you. I'm naturally creative, insightful and adaptable; as comfortable writing articles for consumer publications as I am crafting corporate collateral and giving life to dry concepts. The simplest sentence can have a significant impact and my passion is in making words work for your business. COPYWRITING
I have extensive experience working for multi-national corporations and small to medium businesses including Lendlease (Retirement Living; Communities; Innovations), Pacific Smiles Dental Centres, Asteron Life, PwC, Weight Watchers, Officeworks, Costco and Edge. Together, we've created brochures, websites, internal and customer-facing campaigns, blogs, newsletters, magazines, billboards, ads, scripts for radio and tv commercials and so much more.
CONTENT CREATION
Give me a topic and I'll turn it into a sparkling piece of engaging prose, a blog post, a poem. Anything is possible.
FEATURE WRITING
I'm an experienced journalist and have worked for consumer and trade magazines, newspapers and websites since 2006 including Marie Claire, Prevention, SBS, The Australian, Cosmopolitan, Lounge magazine and more.

ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Cecily-Anna Bennett and for as long as I can remember I wanted to be a writer. (There may have been aspirations to be an artist - and a mermaid - but from the moment I could grip a pencil, I was sold on the words).
I started my career in consumer magazines in London in 2006, and have since discovered the joy that comes from giving a client the words they need to sell a product or inspire their customers.
I live in Sydney, Australia with my small child and medium dog, both of whom I love dearly, and neither of whom have ever hindered me from hitting even the most treacherous of deadlines.
